  • provided plants/supplies needed for gardens

*Local Artist (Terry Whye)

  • provided instruction on the native plants and animals in all three regions in Maryland
  • created school-wide clay mural projects with students focused on the native plants and animals in eacterry whye.pngh region

* Carroll County Education Foundation

  • Provided [[#|grant money]] for green school initiatives for Cranberry Station Elementary.

  • Supported Yard Sale in the community by assisting set-up and clean-up
  • Purchased Abitibi dumpster for paper recycling
  • Provided CSE with Artist in Residence program

  • Formed The "Green Team" which identifies and solves problems regarding environmental concerns in the school
  • Educates students about environmental issues on morning news, "Environmental Fast Facts."
  • Educates students about the importance of composting in the cafetera.
  • Supports Waste Free lunch by advertising and educating students and staff
  • Developed first CSE Yard Sale which raised $550.00
